Hello everyone! If you are here for the first time, welcome, feel free to browse the site and be sure to head over to our Facebook or Twitter for more cool stuff from us.

The website is undergoing a couple of changes. You may have noticed that the site layout is different, we have done away with our old article system and will be moving towards a new blog style article system. This means that whenever anyone posts an article on our site it will be read like a blog post similar to this main page with updates. We switched to this for a few reasons. The first of which is that coding individual pages for each article was a nightmare and a huge time sink for us and if you haven’t guessed the five of us are really quite busy with all sorts of projects and our daily lives. The second reason we have switched to a blog post style is because it will help us get away from the huge block of text style by giving us more layout and editing tools and allow us to have our articles read by smart phones and other portable devices. Neat! We are also working on an archive system, but that takes coding time that we just don’t have at the moment.

One the biggest changes we have made here are the nifty side banners you see to your left and right. Noah graciously designed these to help with our kickstarter traffic. If you want to get to our kickstarter page from anywhere on the site all you need to do is click one of those banners and it will link you right to our kickstarter. even cooler, it should open in a new tab if you have tabbed browsing enabled, so you can keep your place on our site at any time.

We have a couple features waiting in the wings currently also. The first of these is the forums. We want to get forums set up for people to use to talk about games and projects and really anything fun that should be talked about by a game company. We are almost ready to initilize this, but we need more people to tell us what they want to see in the forums. We don’t want to make a forum that people won’t use and really this is for our fans/customer/friends/whoever. It’s not really for ‘us’ because we converse with each other so much already. If you have some ideas for how you want our forums to be head over to our Facebook and tell us about it. Write in our wall, do whatever, just let us know!

The next feature we have ready to activate is our store. We are waiting on this for two reasons. First off it costs us money to start. Second off if we don’t have enough goods to sell it still costs us money and we don’t really make any. To fix this problem we need to get Birds! printed. So click on the side banner and go support our project, you get cool stuff in return for doing so!

If you haven’t seen on our Facebook post we are looking into working with Daisy Gaming, one of our friends who has a whole bunch of cool play throughs of console games up on here site. We really like the idea of maybe doing some ‘let’s plays’ with her or on our own. I (Jameson) am currently working on finding the ideal mic settings for us to run a lets play for either League of Legends, or Minecraft, both games that we love playing. In the future we are also looking at playing things like Left4dead or maybe some old school steam games like the first counter strike. If you can think of anything you think we should be playing or if you just want to support this idea let us know on our Facebook or Twitter.
