The six major central banks of the world, the European Central Bank, U.S. Federal Reserve, Bank of Canada, Bank of England, Bank of Japan and Swiss National Bank have made a currency-swap arrangements on 31st October, 2013. This agreement will help central banks of the world to provide short term funding of dollars, yen and euros in other currencies outside their home market during the financial crisis.
