    "Dr. Philip Kotler" who is the S.C. Johnson & Son Distinguished Professor of International Marketing at the Northwestern University Kellogg Graduate School of Management in Chicago is the father of Marketing management.

    Philip Kotler "is known as the father of Marketing Management “he was born in Chicago, Illinois, The United States on May 27, 1931. He received his Master's Degree at the University of Chicago (1953) and his PhD at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (1956), both in economics, he is an American marketing author, consultant and professor; currently the S. C. Johnson Distinguished Professor of International Marketing at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He is the author of over 40 marketing books, Professor Kotler's book, Marketing Management, is the world's most widely used graduate level textbook in marketing.
