"Wilhelm Conrad R?ntgen" is the first person to be awarded with the Nobel Prize for Physics. He got this award in the year 1901 for the discovery of electromagnetic radiation which was later known as X-ray. He is a German physicist and was born on 27th March, 1845 in Lennep, Rhine Province, Germany.
