Google on April 3, 2014 launched the 360 degree online view of Angkor Wat in Cambodia. The Angkor collection will also include over 300 pieces of art retrieved from the ruins spread over 400 sq kilometers. The Angkor Wat project was developed with the help of the Apsara Authority of the Kingdom of Cambodia. While Street View is a part of Google Maps which is available in 55 countries and allowed people to virtually explore and navigate a neighborhood through 360 degree panoramic images. And about 100 temples in the vast Angkor area were covered under this project.
