Why did Google launched Project Android One?

    On June 25, 2014, Google launched Project Android One to build ultra cheap Smartphone at Google I/O 2014 in San Francisco. This project will enable manufacturers to build ultra-cheap smartphones with much more ease. Android is used by a billion users and the Android One initiative is part of its aim to reach out to the next five billion smartphone users.
